WELCOME

On behalf of our entire production team, welcome to Beattie Outdoor Productions. 2015 marks our 10th year creating outdoor media. There’s a lot of exciting content to share, so we’ll keep this overview brief. Hopefully you viewed our recent film festival submissions, Carpland and Mongolia: A Fly Fishing Evolution, in the 2015 Fly Fishing Film Tour (in North America) and /or the Rise Film Tour (in Europe, New Zealand and Australia). Trailers and additional information can be found below.

We’ve released 2 new DVDs: Fishtails (Available on DVD now) is a collection of 12 short form films including Scorpion Expedition, Alaska: La Frontera Norte, The Arctic and more. CARPLAND was recently awarded Movie of the Year and Best Story at the Drake Video Awards, and is available now on DVD. And last but not least, we’re releasing Skagit Revolution, a collaborative Spey Casting Tutorial with master-caster and guide Tom Larimer, this fall.

All of the DVDs, digital downloads and rentals are available on our new Merch and Video Store: Fishingvideostore.com. Check it out!

We’ve just completed a new studio – Off the Grid Studios – a green media house in the wilderness. Aspects of our content is processed in our wind and solar powered production facility.

We’re also producing and releasing a variety of new and exciting media with our sponsors and partners on a regular basis. So bookmark the website – check us out on facebook, twitter, & instagram – and drop in and visit us as often as possible. We’ll be posting the freshest media and updates to this website, first. Here’s a hot new shortie produced with team member Austin Trayser and Patagonia River Guides. Enjoy.

Off the Grid Studios

In a high-desert juniper grove on a ridge above the Crooked River Gorge, Off The Grid Studios overlooks a wild Central Oregon landscape. The horizon is framed by the snow-covered Cascade Mountains. Our free-range livestock roam, unimpeded by infrastructure. Piles of dogs are found sleeping on the front porch in the same sun rays that power our studio and creative process. It's here, immersed in the wild and our outdoor passions, that we merge storytelling, cutting-edge technology, art and sustainability. We've assembled a network of talented people from around the world to take the creative process from concept to fruition. Everyone has a story to tell. What's yours? Our talented creative team is ready to help with your next creative project. Looking for a new website, media or campaign development? We've got you covered. Check out our dedicated Off the Grid Studios website for more info.

Consistent High Quality

Beattie has been providing the Fly Fishing Film Tour consistent high quality, entertaining video that has bee the corner stone of the F3T for the past 7 years. Their ability to create amusing characters and stories have allowed us to take the film tour to the next next level and in turn have set the bar for the future film makers in the genre.  Always on time and exceeding expectations, Beattie has earned a spot in the tour every year as as such we always look forward to seeing their work.
